Sprinkle a bit of “Intergalatic Love Song” from Charles Earland with “The More I Want” from Teddy Pendergrass over The D.O.C. “Portrait Of A Masterpiece”, a Dr Dre production, and a remix is born. Remxed by CJ Mac and EG, hence the Ed-Did-It credit. The Charles Earland and Teddy Pendergrass hooks were my 15% contributions – CJ pulled the track together with the Lee Marrow piano riff. We did this over two winter nights at Sarm East Studio on Brick Lane, East London.
